About the site

Welcome to the Ordo Canonicus website!

This website was created for two reasons.

Firstly, I have been getting deeper and deeper into the Warhammer 40k lore in the last few years and have compiled a pretty exhaustive catalog of relevant publications in order to track my progress through them, including cross-references between anthologies / omnibuses and the works contained within them. It felt weird to just keep this database to myself and not publish it in some way.

I wasn't sure how to go about this though until this year, when recent technological innovations made it user-friendly enough to actually create a website without prior knowledge of programming languages. In short, I vibe-coded this site purely with AI. This proved to be a very interesting process and I was curious how far I can push it, what features I can add, etc. This has become an exciting development exercise, although I'm sure an actual developer would have a thousand notes for me about rookie mistakes I made along the way.

Such feedback would be in fact greatly appreciated from anyone willing to give it. Likewise, any suggestion or correction regarding the base publication catalog would also be very welcome.
