Description

Standalone Imperial Guard / Tau novel by Peter Fehervari, and the first major book of what later became the Dark Coil. On the jungle world of Phaedra an Imperial expedition and a Tau cadre grind each other down in a war so poisonous that the water, the trees and the mind itself become the battlefield.
